Action Man Action Soldier Deluxe 2022 (Age 3+) Description:

A new range of super articulated figures was released on Booghe Online Toy Store Early October 2022. The new figure is a rework of an existing 30 point articulated body and retains the well received iconic headsculpt. The figure has painted hair and 'hard' hands, which although are fixed will allow figure to hold weapons at a push. The articulation and body proportions are, it is fair to say, better than all previous Action Man figures, including that of the vintage of 1966, additionally allowing for natural sitting and kneeling poses.

There are three painted head hair colours within this 2022 range, and the uniforms and accessories all fit the vintage figure. Unchanged from the 2018 releases are the scale twin metal dog tags and head sculpts. The newly adapted boxes feature a roundel for the 30 point articulation so as not to be confused with the 2018 release (with short armed figures).

The new figures in this 30POA (30 Point Of Articulation) range - Soldier, Soldier Deluxe and Freeze Force (blue eyes, blond hair), Pilot and Marine Ops (brown eyes and black hair) and Officer Cadet and Night Ops (blue eyes and brown hair) have a particular hair colour.

His uniform consists of a British military shirt and trousers in an accurate camouflage pattern, accompanied by high brown boots, a fabric belt, and a fabric covered beret. This can further be accompanied by a backpack. His dog tags are to scale, and have a pair of metal Action Man logo tags on a miniature chain with familiar ball and canoe fastening. Collectors will note the outfit will fit a classic Action Man 1966 figure.

Also included within the box is a rifle resembling an SA80. This rifle comes with a detachable scope.
