Machine Gun Emplacement Description:

The Action Man Machine Gun Emplacement was introduced in the 1972 Action Man Equipment Manual and had a battery operated flashing muzzle and realistic machine gun sound. A Belt Fed Machine Gun was available a year later in 1973. The Machine Gun Emplacement is not listed in the 1974 Equipment Manual.

Notes:

The Action Man Machine Gun is battery powered with the battery compartment inside the dummy landscape base. When operated by pulling the trigger section rearward, the muzzle lights a red bulb, with authentic machine gun sounds. The tripod is susceptible to damage. Four sandbags were supplied with this set, along with a shovel, a green string camo net, two ammo boxes and US helmet (with elastic strap).
