The following selection Star Cards were given away as an incentive to buy more Action Man goods, most packaging carried one or more star icon tokens, the number depending on the relative value of the purchase. Different 'prizes' were available at different times and the famous Royal Canadian Mounted Police 'Mounty' uniform was always a popular choice. Other paperwork is also shown here and will be built into a definative collection of images. It's interesting to see how inflation battered the schoolboy's pocket money during the Labour governments of the late 1970s!
