ACTION MAN BRITISH INFANTRY MAJOR OUTFIT: Jacket, trousers, scarf, pistol and lanyard, belt and holster, boots, cap, binoculars, map, Equipment Manual.
Notes:
The Action Man British Infantry Major was a detailed uniform in a lightweight material. The belt was in a light material with no slider. Applied were the tiniest of 17/21st Lancers insignia and major 'pip' and medal ribbon lightly adhered to the fabric, which are all too frequently lost (replacements are available). The Colt .45 pistol has a bottom hoop connected to a lanyard with a woggle which is unique to this outfit. The lightweight trousers has unhemmed front pocket flaps and elasticated trouser bottoms. The cap was the standard officer affair with Lancers skull badge. The holster did not have the traditional red leg tie in this instance, as the pistol had its own lanyard. The map included (no tube) was the standard countryside version. Binoculars are the plastic strap version with hollow tubes.
